Data Integration and Program Development

Development of the PLUS Program at school sites allows for access to the PLUS Program surveys database. This unique database will enable schools to not only build their own survey assessment tool, but will allow schools to trend particular questions throughout the school year at no cost. By assessing student behavior and campus culture on a regular basis, schools programs will be able to target precise interventions that need to be added to the calendar of activities implemented by the schools administrative team and youth leadership program. When the database recognizes that a particular behavior or critical issue topic is higher than an established norm, schools will be guided to a bank of resources, activities, and strategies to address the identified critical issue.

Simply put, the database will give schools the ability to personalize a survey, aggregate the data, trend the data, and offer resources and recommendations where needed.

The PLUS Program data integration system gives schools a powerful tool that:

  1. Localize data so that it reflects the student community being served.
  2. Personalize questions on an ongoing basis to assess program implementations.
  3. Utilize as part of the requirements in grant funded projects and activities.
  4. Trend specifics questions for precise targeted intervention or prevention programs.
  5. Gives direction to school youth leadership programs throughout the year.
  6. Guides programs to activities that will target behaviors which impact a safe and supportive school climate
  7. Will identify the conditions for learning for students on a campus
  8. Assess campus culture and social norms at no cost.

By implementing the PLUS Program and utilizing the survey database, schools will no longer have to pay outrageous fees and get their data back the next school year. Schools will have immediate results and a “Pulse” that is reflective of the students on their campus.
